PRIZES FOR THE TOP 4 WINNERS
- There are four Top Prize winners, one per genre
- Six weeks (or more) of television, radio, and online promotion for your music. (January 17 - March 7)
- Herd Records, Inc. Recording Contract and TAP Music Group Publishing Contract
- Other tangible prizes such as musical instruments, sound equipment, meals, clothing, etc.
- Airplay for the JAMZ and KISS winners
- Some promotions and prizes may be awarded to the alternate top 40

CLEAN MUSIC ONLY- We will only be accepting FCC acceptable content for radio and primetime television. We will not post or enter music or music videos that contain profanity, nudity, or obscene content.
INSPIRATIONAL MUSIC - Please note that we encourage artists of the Christian, Worship, Gospel, or Inspirational music genre to compete in this competition and submit in the featured mainstream and secular musical genres. Please note your genre when entering (i.e...Country, Rock, HipHop, etc).
Artist/Writers not affiliated with ASCAP, BMI, SESAC companies will need to be affiliated prior to the radio promotion (we can help). Those that do not make the top 40 may be considered for an Artist/Songwriter Development Deal and will be given the choice to sign an agreement with Herd Records, Inc. and TAP Music Group LLC.
TOP 40 CONTESTANTS - All top 40 contestants will be required to sign an Artist/Writer Development Agreement and possible Touring Agreement with Original Artist LLC, Herd Records, Inc. and TAP Music Group, LLC. with reversions should they not be chosen for the top 16.

All contestants will have their submissions uploaded to the www.originalartist.tv site or http://cfc.abc3340.com/abc3340/originalartist/. By January 16th the submissions will close and we will be choosing the top 40 aritists, 10 from each genre, based on the public rankings and radio program directors decisions for the best new music. The top 40 will be announced on January 19th and will be notified by phone and email. The top 40 artists will then be featured in private call auditions on January 24th, taped for 2 hour special content. From the top 40 artists, we will determine the decisions for the top 16 artists, or 4 per genre. The top 16 will be chosen as the feature in a 2 hour televised special on ABC 33/40 prime on February 28th (taped on February 15th) and will receive other radio and television promotions. The decision for the 4 winners will be determined and announced at a "Results Party" for the public on a live 10pm live telecast on ABC 33/40 on February 28th.
