  Health Care and Reform

Very disappointed in the health care panel on your show. As a long time viewer, I expected better.Where was the diversity. Race / Age?I'm really tired of hearing individuals who have (and has probably always had) medical insurance talk about who should not have it. Let's make sure when we talk about reform, we hear from everyone, including those who own a business (like myself), have gone bankrupt because of medical bills, lost a love one who was denied treatment from the Insurance Company, etc.TV personalities (who have a nice insurance plan) should stop giving their opinion without all the facts. What a sad country we live in that throws opposition every time the playing filed is attempted to be leveled. We can slowly see the real reason behind opposition - classicism and racism. "The illegals will have coverage". What? They get medical treatment now and we all pay for it.

p.s. if a child has an ambition to become a doctor, they will become a doctor, regardless of health care reform. How many teachers left their profession when prayer was removed from the schools? Did we have a mass exodus?

Hello, I really could care less if Obama is black. I care about his values.  There are other qualified blacks that I would support much more than  Obama. Colin Powell and Alan Keyes are 2 that come immediately to my attention. I mainly disagree on his concept that BIG GOVERNMENT can do a better job than private industry. _______________________________________________________________________________________

I think most people will agree that shouting "you lie" at the President was not the right thing to do even though he was lying. But it has nothing to do with race. Not agreeing with Obamacare has nothing to do with race. People just do not agree with what this administration is doing to our country. I am sick of every time a white person doesn't agree with a black person, they pull out the race card. It is close minded and ignorant.

I don't believe Joe Wilson is a racist. He should not have shouted out in that venue, however, the Democrats booed former President Bush many times in the same venue. Former President Carter is just jumping on the bandwagon (and getting his name in the news!)calling anyone who disagrees with President Obama or his views/proposals racist. I am not racist but I don't agree with anymore government spending. Reform is needed for healthcare but not by the government taking over and spending billions.

There seems to have developed a climate of bad manners in the past few years, that people seem too ready to accept.  Serena Williams' outburst, Congressman Wilson's outburst, and yes, Kanye West's misbehavior are just the latest examples of people not being properly brought up.  There IS no excuse for this bad behavior.  A wise person, I wish I remembered who, said (and I'm paraphrasing)  "Manners are the grease that keep society from becoming violent."  Well, manners seem to have gone out the window, and yes, society is becoming way too violent.  Maybe Miss Manners should be required training before anyone is given a large platform to express themselves.
